• How Measure Width:
  PIN TO PIN -The finished width of blind (in mm) from bracket to bracket, including roller and other blind componentry.
  CLOTH TO CLOTH – The finished width of the blind fabric only (in mm) including brackets.
  BACK WALL – Use back wall measurements (in mm) and including architraves for face fixed blinds when multiple blinds to be installed on same window or bay window.
  BQ will make adjustments to sizing you specify, only on request.

• Drop:
  Provide blind drop in mm.
  If a shaped style base is required include this in your drop measurement.
  BQ will not make adjustments to drop measurements provided, unless:
  – requested in OPTIONAL FEATURES AND SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS or
  – window recess drop measurements are provided and RECESSED YES is selected.

• Recessed:
  Select YES if blind to be installed in window recess and you would like BQ to make adjustments to the blind reasurements you provide, to accommodate for blind componentry and ensure perfect fit.

• Chain/Cord Side:
  Please specify if you would like to operate your blind chain from the left or right side of the blind.
  If blind is to be operated by a motorisation system or spring assist, select NO CHAIN.
  Blind brackets and chain drive will be colour matched to chain colour or fabric if stainless steel or nickel plated chain colour selected.

• Roll:
  NORMAL ROLL: Fabric falls to back of roller (BQ standard).
  REVERSE ROLL: Fabric falls to front of roller, covering roller tube.

70g weight polyester is the standard BQ filling for throw rugs. Other filling options available on request include:

Pre-shrunk 100% cotton lining in ivory colour provided by BQ is our standard lining and used on underside of all non reversible BQ products. Customer can also provide own approved lining. Interlining is also available for delicate fabrics.

To hide componentry on sheer blinds

Used to hide lifting componentry such as motorisation or headrail, seen on side of face fixed blinds.
Flaps are made in self fabric and attach to each side of headboard.

The blind operates by either a battery or electrical operated motor, installed in tube hidden behind blind headboard and controlled by remote control, wall switch or smart phone. An alternate to cord or chain operated blinds.

Headrail system with chain operation. A range of chain colours are available

Used for cord operated roman blinds to lock the blind into the desired position, rather than relying on the cleat. Activate or release lock by tugging cord. BQ use a heavy duty locking mechanism. A minimum headboard projection of 30mm is required when a cord lock is installed. Please note: Cord locks are not covered by BQ warranty and not recommended for blinds installed in window or ceiling recess, corners, under pelmets or butting bay windows, due to angle required to unlock the mechanism to release the cord.

Slim Profile Dual Bracket

Stiffened roller blinds provide you with an opportunity to integrate laces, sheer or solid plain or print fabrics into your room.

Our stiffened roller blinds are unlined, so the original transparency of your fabric is maintained.

A large range of fabrics can be used for stiffened roller blinds. For the best result, we recommend open weave fabrics and soil resistant coated fabrics should be avoided. Your fabric can be tested for suitability prior to ordering.

Some fabrics may be a shade darker after stiffening. If adding self fabric binding to your blind, this fabric will not be stiffened and colour may vary to the blind.

For wider windows, vertical fabric joins will be sewn if required and print fabrics will be perfectly pattern matched. Blinds installed on adjoining windows will also have fabric pattern matched.

For multiple blinds in a room, print fabric will be pattern matched from base of blind. If butting or adjoining blinds are to have pattern flow please notify BQ and ensure enough fabric is provided.

Bonded blinds provide you with an opportunity to integrate plain or statement solid fabrics into your room.

The following fabrics are not suitable for bonded blinds: rayon/acetate, 100% polyester, sheers, linen, some silks, chintz, polypropylene, backcoated fabrics, velvets and fabrics with 40%+ viscose content. BQ prefers fabrics to have at least 50% cotton content. Your fabric can be tested for suitability prior to ordering.

Suitable blind fabrics are processed through our unique specifically designed oven to stabilise fabric and reduce movement after manufacturing.

For wider windows, vertical fabric joins will be sewn if required. We will always attempt to pattern match print fabrics to minimise exposure of fabric joins.

For multiple blinds in a room, print fabric will be pattern matched from base of blind. If butting or adjoining blinds are to have pattern flow please notify BQ and ensure enough fabric is provided.
